Bio
Traci Koster began working with Nelson Koster in June 2016, focusing exclusively on general family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, equitable distribution, custody, child support and adoptions. She graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 2009. Prior to joining Nelson Koster, Traci practiced general civil litigation for several years at a private Tampa law firm. In her practice of law, Traci aims to help every client towards a brighter future.
Traci was named a 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Rising Star by Super Lawyers. She is active in the legal community as a current director on the board of directors for Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division and the co-founder and co-chair of Tampa Bay Pro Bono Partners. For her work with the Tampa Bay Pro Bono Partners, Traci was the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Pro Bono Service by a Young Lawyer Award, presented by the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit. In law school, she was recognized as the Stanley Milledge Award Recipient and the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award Recipient.
Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, Traci was raised in Palm Harbor, graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2007. She now lives in Tampa with her two young children and husband, Richie.
